Keep Up the Burn

Feel the burn throughout the Mid-Season as the limited time Burn Run Assignment continues to appear in Avalon in Season 05 Reloaded. Seek out the skull icon on your Tac Map and head to the site where you’ll find a Guild-rigged UTV ready to go. Climb inside and race the clock to the end, driving through checkpoints while facing enemies and obstacles on the road.

Hitting enemies and obstacles will add more seconds to the clock but watch out for the state of your vehicle. Pick up Repair power-ups along the way to keep the car from falling apart, and grab Boost power-ups to get ahead in the race.

There are three Burn Run tracks in all, as follows:

Old Arsenal (Recommended Combat Rating N/A): Complete to earn 500 Power and a Random Reward.

High Town (Recommended Combat Rating 30): Complete to earn 1,250 Power and a Random Reward.

Low Town (Recommended Combat Rating 45): Complete to earn 2,000 Power and a Random Reward.

Last Chance for Free to Play

Season 05 Reloaded is your last chance to play Endgame for free! Invite your friends and tear it up through Avalon while tackling Operations and other PvE challenges. At the start of Season 06, Endgame will no longer be accessible via the *Call of Duty: Warzone *menu and will be available only to *Black Ops 7 *owners.

MULTIPLAYER CONTENT SUMMARY

Multiplayer Maps: Battle inside a massive pinball machine built from iconic Nuketown history as bumpers, ramps, and targets come alive in the brand-new Turbo Tilt Multiplayer map. Explore obstacles and locations from the infamous cul-de-sac while striving for a high score. Plus, undertake a new obstacle course in Freerun: Descent, offering rewards to Operators who prove their skill across seven zones of escalating mobility challenges.

Cranked Returns: In Cranked Moshpit, eliminate enemies to earn Operator buffs and start the Cranked timer. Keep slaying and stay on the objective to keep the timer, and your life, from running out.

Multiplayer Maps

Turbo Tilt

Brand-New, 6v6/2v2, Small-Sized

Celebrate the history of Nuketown as Operators enter the *Nuketown Turbo Era Rampage *pinball machine hosted by Archie Atom. This fun-sized map is packed with callouts to the infamous cul-de-sac, including the Bus, a view from the House, the desert landscape, and the blast itself in the center where a mushroom cloud rises over action.

Fire at interactive targets, set off the Flippers, and watch out for pinballs bowling over Operators caught on the Track. From your scaled down perspective, marvel at the guts of the machine as you battle between open play spaces and the mechanisms running the game. In this homage to Nuketown, prepare for constant battle, using the map’s ramps, bumpers, and other features to stay ahead of the competition and reach that high score.

Freerun: Descent

New Course

*“As early volunteers for the training program, you have a unique opportunity to prove your skills to the Guild. Finish before your competition if you wish to make a lasting impression.” *— Dr. Atwood

There’s no rest for the weary as The Guild introduces a second Freerun obstacle course, in this case challenging Operators on a timed descent across seven zones with multiple checkpoints.

Each course run pits a team of ten Operators in a race to the finish, with every zone presenting its own unique challenges. From Wall Jumps to slides, Wingsuit sections, target training, Grappling Gun segments, and more, players must prove their total mastery over every obstacle. To keep the action moving, look for boost pads, portals, and shortcuts, anything to get ahead.

Operators who fall off the course will acquire a fault and respawn at their last obtained checkpoint. Balance speed with precision to keep your total number of faults low, especially when going for the “Gridlock” Universal Weapon Camo. See the full list of course rewards below.

Freerun: Descent Course Rewards: 

• Complete the Freerun: Descent course three times to earn the “Eyes on Screen” Emblem and 1,000 XP.

• Collect all Ciphers in Freerun: Descent to earn the “Catch Air” Weapon Charm and 2,500 XP.

• Finish the Freerun: Descent course in under 12 minutes with fewer than 10 faults to earn the “Gridlock” Universal Weapon Camo and 5,000 XP.

Compete for additional rewards in the Mid-Season Freerun: Descent Challenge Event — including two additional Weapon Camos, a Weapon Charm, Weapon Blueprint, and more — detailed in the Season 05 Reloaded Events section found below in the General Content section of this blog.

Cranked Moshpit

Returning LTM

Your life ends when the timer does in Cranked, the action-packed game mode where eliminating enemies activates Cranked mode, awarding Operator buffs while setting the timer in motion. Keep slaying and playing the objective to add more time. Hit zero and you explode.

Earn the following buffs for reaching killstreak milestones in each life:

1-streak: Increased Movement and reduced Field Upgrade Recharge

2-streak: Improved Hip Fire Accuracy and Increased Sprint to Fire

3-streak: Increased ADS and Weapon Swap speed

4-streak: Increased Reload Speed and Equipment Refill on Kill

5-streak: Increased Score and Headshot Damage

Obtain the double score buff earned at a 5-streak to skyrocket toward high-level Scorestreaks. Pummel the other team across a rotating playlist of objective modes including Cranked Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint, and Demolition.

ZOMBIES CONTENT SUMMARY

New Round-Based Zombies Map — Rex Infernus: Confront the Warden in the grand finale of the Black Ops 7 Zombies storyline as the crew attempts to save reality itself. Welcome to Rex Infernus, the next and final Round-Based Zombies map launching with Season 05 Reloaded.

New Enemies, Trap, and Quest Rewards: Stand up to deadly Deathspinners and the Web Mother, swarming the crew with a mix of melee attacks and ranged web projectiles.  Smash foes to pieces with the aid of the new Titan Trap and earn rewards while taking on the Main Quest in Standard and Cursed Mode.

New Features: Trap enemies in an explosion of webs with the new Widow’s Wine Perk-a-Cola and greatly empower your weapon with the Fully Packed Ultra GobbleGum. Dig through the Mystery Box in Rex Infernus for the chance to earn the new TR2 Marksman Rifle and Olympia Shotgun legacy weapons!

New Map: Rex Infernus

As reality stands on the cusp of destruction, the crew face their ultimate challenge. Cleanse the Shadowsmith places of power, find the Warden’s inner sanctum, and put an end to his loathsome existence.

Everything has led to this point, but does the crew have what it takes to finish the job and save reality? Answer the call to find out. There’s little known about Rex Infernus. Here’s what we’ve learned so far:

Rex Infernus: New Enemy: Deathspinner

Prepare for a tough fight when Deathspinners approach.  These deadly creatures move quickly, strike fast, and use numbers to overwhelm the crew. They can also use a ranged web projectile that slows affected crew members. One on one, they’re not so bad, but watch out when they swarm.

Rex Infernus: New Elite Enemy: Web Mother

If you think Deathspinners are frightening, wait until you run into the Web Mother. Try to keep your wits about you as the Web Mother screams and lunges, using copious amounts of webbing to damage and slow the crew while cocooning zombies transforming them into environmental hazards.

Rex Infernus: Titan Trap

Draws in nearby zombies and smashes them to pieces.

Pummel the enemy with the Titan Trap, calling upon the powerful force to slam their fists into the ground, damaging and disrupting zombies caught in the impact. Get out of the way fast when activating this trap or risk getting damaged by the Titan’s flurry hits. 

Rex Infernus: New Main Quest, Quest Rewards, and Challenges

The Main Quest for Rex Infernus will be available for play when the map releases with Season 05 Reloaded on August 20 at 9:00 AM PT. Complete the Main Quest to earn the following:

• The “Bloodthorn” Wonder Weapon Skin, Calling Card, and 10,000 XP.

• Obtain the necessary Intel (Audio Logs, Documents, and Artifacts) to earn another Calling Card and 10,000 XP.

• Players who complete the Main Quest before Directed Mode arrives for this map will also earn a unique Calling Card variant.

Complete the Rex Infernus Mastery Challenge to earn an Animated Calling Card and 10,000 XP. Each map challenge awards XP and a static Calling Cards upon completion.

Prove you have what it takes to defeat the Warden’s horde in even the most difficult situations with Cursed mode on Rex Infernus, offering no Main Quest guidance and a limited HUD and starting Pistol.

New Perk-a-Cola: Widow’s Wine

When melee attacks bring your health low, retaliate with an explosion of webs.

Major Augments:

• **Widow’s Bite: **Melee attacks have a chance to trigger a web explosion. Melee kills on cocooned enemies can overcharge your health.

• **Hatchling: **Web explosions summon a friendly Deathspinner to fight for you.

• **Web Spinner: **A web explosion temporarily adds a slowing field around you.

• **Tangled Web: **All Normal and Special enemies in the web explosion are cocooned in place, while Elite enemies are slowed.

Minor Augments:

• **Haste: **Decrease Widow’s Wine’s cooldown.

• **The Wide Web: **Increases the web explosion’s effective radius.

• **Golden Orb Silk: **Increase the duration of the webbing effect.

• **Sticky Grenade: **Thrown explosive Lethal Equipment will also cover surviving enemies in spider webs.

Each weapon features stats rivaling that of a Wonder Weapon, including full Pack-a-Punch progression and Ammo Mod capabilities.

Returning Game Mode and Mid-Season LTM: Black Ops Royale makes a triumphant returnfor  and drop into Loaded Resurgence arriving as a Weekend LTM.

New Gameplay Features: Take on a Most Wanted Contract to secure the Quickdrop Kit, cutting down your squad’s redeploy time in Resurgence. And keep your eyes to the sky as Special Delivery Drones appear; bring one down and survive to claim new Weapon Camos.

After wingsuiting in, it’s an all-out scramble to scavenge weapons, hunt for Attachment Kits to raise weapon rarity, and outlast 24 rival squads on this massive map.

Featuring a variety of enhanced objectives, dangerous zones with hallucinated zombie hordes, and only two ways to redeploy into battle, Black Ops Royale keeps the action varied and fast paced in a survival setting where the last squad standing wins. Loaded Resurgence joins the Mid-Season as the featured Weekend limited-time mode.

Drop into Rebirth Island, Haven’s Hollow, and Fortune’s Keep with your custom Loadout weapons equipped from the start and during redeploys. Perks, however, can only be earned through eliminations. Rack up enough kills to unlock the Specialist Perk and gain a powerful advantage as the match progresses.

Reduce your squad’s redeployment time in Resurgence with the Quickdrop Kit and earn new Weapon Camos by shooting down the Special Delivery Drone.

Get back into the fight more quickly with the Quickdrop Kit, a stackable reward that reduces your squad’s redeployment time in Resurgence matches. Before acquiring the valuable item, you’ll first need to prove yourself by completing a Most Wanted Contract. Look to the skies for the rare Special Delivery Drone. Ground it for the chance to earn new Weapon Camos, including the “Heavy Metal” Weapon Camo available across Verdansk and Avalon in Battle Royale and Battle Royale Casual, and the “War Machine” Weapon Camo available in Resurgence and Resurgence Casual.
